last night's game
Boston got P.J. Brown and Sam Cassell. However, only Brown played. Cassell watched his new team courtside. Pierce scored 22 points and Garnett added another 16 and 8 rebounds. Boston made their seventh consecutive win with a 116-93 victory over the Chicago Bulls. Perkins got 14 points and 11 rebounds. It was difficult to recognize Scalabrine last night, because he shaved his head. Wow. What a difference that can make. But he did so for charity, St. Baldrick's Foundation raises money for childhood cancer research. Garnett seemed excited to see that Cassell would be joining the team. They had been teammates playing for Minnesota from 2003-2005. And Glen "Big Baby" Davis pursued a loose ball in the final minutes. And doing so he took out several seats at the scorer's table. The top player for Boston last night was Paul Pierce. The top player for Chicago was Ben Gordon.
